Social Nature - 2022 Year-End Technology Update
As we approach the end of the year, it’s always a great time to reflect on the accomplishments and achievements of the past 12 months. At Social Nature, our Product & Engineering team has been working hard to drive innovation and make our platform better for our users.
Here’s a summary of some of the technical achievements we’ve made in the past year:
Insights Dashboard: We developed a new insights dashboard that gives our customers access to valuable data and metrics about their product usage and consumer habits. This helps them make more informed decisions about the products they launch and to understand their consumer path to purchase.
Store-Geolocation: We implemented a feature that allows our community users to easily find and redeem offers at participating retailers in their area. This has made it easier for them to try new, better-for-you products and has helped increase the reach of our platform.
Rebate Mechanic: We started piloting a rebate mechanic (beta-testing) that makes it easier for our users to claim their rewards and incentivizes them to try new products. We are confident that this will help drive engagement and satisfaction on our platform.
User Issue-Reporting Interface: In addition, we built a product redemption issue reporting engine, which makes it easier for users to report any issues they encounter when redeeming offers. This has helped us improve the overall user experience and ensure that our users have a smooth and seamless experience on our platform.
New Login and Signup Flow: We also made significant improvements to our login and signup flow, making it easier and more intuitive for users to create an account and start exploring all that Social Nature has to offer.
Data Re-Architecture: Behind the scenes, we underwent a massive data re-architecture project to improve the scalability, performance and extensibility of our platform. This included the implementation of infrastructure as code, which allows us to more efficiently manage and deploy our infrastructure.
Platform Modernization: We completed a platform modernization project, which included a continuous overhaul of our technology stack and user interface allowing us to provide a more seamless and enjoyable experience for our users.
