Message to Pingpad Users

Today I sent the following to all users of the Pingpad consumer mobile app.

We are discontinuing the Consumer Pingpad app on July 1st. You can export your Note content using the web app, and reply to this message if you need any assistance from us in this transition.

Pingpad is pursuing a new path, to help people at work get things done, together. We have a new unannounced app based on the Slack platform. Initially this was a side project, and now it is in private beta with remarkable results. To let us focus on solving team collaboration problems, we had to make the hard decision to stop development and support of the free consumer app. If you are using Slack at work, and want to try the new app, reply to this message.

Never an easy decision to make, but the right one for our focus and for people using the consumer app. Soon I’ll share more soon about what we learned and are building.
