You’ll soon be able to view Instagram Stories on desktop

Yes, it’s finally happening! Instagram Stories are coming to the web, according to a recent TechCrunch report.

Stories originally launched on 2 August 2016, and has very quickly grown in popularity. Since its launch — which was widely seen as Facebook’s move to copy Snapchat’s format — a number of other apps have also created similar products. WhatsApp, Skype and Facebook itself are among them.

When Stories launch on the web, users will be able to move from one panel to another by clicking on arrows, according to TechCrunch. Not as smooth as the mobile version, but hey.
