This article on Big Bet Philanthropy from the Stanford Social Innovation Review & Bridgespan is a good frame that aligns with how we are thinking about systems change at SVA. This is challenging the way we think about designing our work and is very relevant to philanthropists who are trying to make big bets.

I also really enjoyed New Power, a book by Jeremy Heimans and Henry Timms.

This book offers a radical thesis about how to change the world based on building movements, spreading ideas, growing organisations and leading differently. It has challenged the way I think about how systems change and where the points of leverage are.
