In the past, our development updates have focused on our tech milestones. This week we want to do things a little differently and elaborate on what our marketing team are up to.

Today we look behind the scenes to unveil just some of our launch activity. Our phased marketing strategy focuses on building audience across ever-broadening segments over the coming months, since a social network needs a significant user base to be ‘social’!

Building Brand Awareness

Those who understand marketing know you cannot just jump out with all guns blazing.

Since Sociall is still very much in the early awareness phase, our marketing team is creating targeted content to establish our brand identity and to showcase the talent behind our project.

Graphic designer Dan has been working around the clock to deliver a whole new style guide, complete with a new colour set and font, refined logos, typography, illustrative style, photographic style etc.

These assets are paramount to visually articulate our brand attributes — those traits being bold, confident, authentic, and ambitious.

You may have noticed this transformation through the content on our social media channels or from the recent redesign of our webpage. Our digital launch campaigns are also now live, with display advertising playing an important role in building brand awareness and discovery.

Showcasing Our Talent

Buzzing around the office with a camera in hand, content producer Jessy has been a busy little bee. We have launched a new Sociall video series, showcasing our team and highlighting how each member contributes to our project. Our pilot episode features Yuki, front-end developer and former robotics engineer. Yuki explains his role in the Sociall Dev Team and shares insight on the development of Sociall’s Hashtag function.

Next episode will spotlight Sociall’s Founder and CEO Jade, who gives us an exclusive look at Sociall’s upcoming iOS and Android apps, built by the man himself.
