We’re growing . . . and so is the buzz for Open Beta!

Plenty of coffee, plenty of meetings and plenty of work ticked off our lists — another busy week has passed by here in the Sociall HQ. The Open Beta release is closing in on us, so best believe we aren’t slowing down and are only gaining more momentum as the days roll by.

Big announcements this week! We have two new team members to introduce … as well as a whole other new office to show you!

New Additions

Jessy -

Jessy is our Content Producer and handles all video/photo content editing and creating. He will be working closely with Courtney, our CMO, Selena in Social Media and our other marketing members (who we will reveal in a few weeks). Jessy is producing plenty of exciting visuals to share with our community over the next few weeks.

Daniel -

Daniel is a UI (User Interface) Designer at Sociall. Daniel’s job is to design all the screens for Sociall’s web and mobile interfaces. He will work closely with Scott, our Product Manager, and our UX designer (who we will reveal next week). Daniel will be designing interfaces for upcoming features, along with fixing designs and flows on already-launched features that require some attention.

We hope that by on-boarding a talented design team that we can offer a more enjoyable experience for all users on Sociall.

New Office

A few weeks ago, we made a decision to lease the office next door to our headquarters. We recently undertook a major expansion to the development team (from 3 devs to 11), on-boarded an in-house marketing team, and also may require some support staff in the coming months — and we simply could not fit inside the one office. We’re a close team — but not that close!

We have moved the entire development team to the new office, which we call “Sociall Development”, and the marketing team, admin, and executives all stay at the main office which we call “Sociall HQ”.

These offices are literally right next to each other, so nothing gets lost in translation. We all meet up often for coffee, chatter, and the casual game of ping-pong and pool (what’s a team without some rivalry!). We also have Friday afternoon demos, so that all members of the company know the progress of development, what the marketing team is up to, and if there are any business updates.

We’ve taken the strategic decision to invest in in-house expertise and resources so we can build an agile, responsive and ground-breaking social networking solution. Our investment is already delivering returns — we can’t wait to release our Open Beta and officially launch our brand to the market in the coming weeks.
