Exam Eve: ‘Twas The Night Before Finals
A poem about the stress of the season.
(a satire inspired by ’Twas The Night Before Christmas)
‘Twas the night before finals, and all through the dorm, Students were studying, their heads in a storm.
Textbooks were open, notes spread on the floor. The caffeine was flowing; no time for a snore.
Their brains with knowledge, their hearts with drive. Just one more night of feeling sleep-deprived.
The stress was high, and the stakes were great. A few exams, and then students could celebrate.
So, they pushed on, determined to succeed. No time for gaming; they had to proceed.
The clock ticked on as they hunched over their desks; filling out study guides was quite complex.
But amid the chaos and the cramming, They found a moment to start relaxing.
They laughed and joked and shared a few snacks. They were taking a break from the intense studying attacks.
But soon, it was back to work with intense motivation. They had to ace these exams for the future of their education.
The night wore on as they toiled away, But they knew they would be prepared for the next day.
All their hard work would lead to prosperity. They’d pass their exams and look at their high GPA Merrily.
So here’s to the night before college finals and the students who persevered. May they pass with flying colors and never be deterred.
