Winter Solace
A poem of wintery bliss by the fire.
Winter winds blow cold and fierce.
Biting at my cheeks and ears.
But inside, by the cozy fireplace,
I’m warm and snug, my heart’s embrace.
The flames dance and flicker bright.
Illuminating the darkest night.
I curl up with a mug of cocoa.
Sipping slowly, savoring each note.
The fireplace is a beacon of light.
Amid the winter’s might.
Its warmth spreads through every limb.
Chasing away the chill within.
The logs crackle and pop with glee.
As the fire consumes them endlessly,
I close my eyes and let out a sigh.
I am lost inthe comfort of this moment’s high.
The fireplace is a beating heart.
Amid the winter’s dart.
It provides a sense of tranquility.
In this world of endless changeability.
So I sit and watch the fire.
As it burns with its constant desire.
Drinking my cocoa, feeling warm,
In this wintery, cozy storm.
