SocialRank gives marketers a unique view into social audiences. One of the popular ways they use it is to vet potential collaborations. The team at SocialRank are avid basketball fans (going to the Knicks game on Sunday as a team!) and we decided to use the product to evaluate NBA players with under 500K followers on Twitter. Below is a list of NBA players brands should be paying more attention to.

Kyle Kuzma — Forward, Los Angeles Lakers

Most people within the realm of basketball will tell you that Kuzma is the Lakers’ best rookie. Thus far he’s proven to be a very talented swingman.

Steven Adams — Center, Oklahoma City Thunder

Steven Adams is the ultimate teammate. The Thunder big man rocks a marketable stash and has a killer New Zealand accent. He could easily be on Game of Thrones.

De’Aaron Fox — Guard, Sacramento Kings

Fox is already one of the fastest players in the NBA and has future All-Star written all over him.

Hassan Whiteside — Center, Miami Heat

If I’m a company that prevents or blocks something, I’d jump at the opportunity to run a campaign with arguably the NBA’s best shot blocker.

Jayson Tatum — Forward, Boston Celtics

Hailing from Duke University, Tatum is a talented scorer. Many compare him to former Duke star, Grant Hill.

Zaza Pachulia — Center, Golden State Warriors

Zaza a starter for the league’s best and most popular team. While he doesn’t put up numbers like Steph Curry or Kevin Durant, he is a cornerstone of the franchise.

Dennis Smith Jr.— Guard, Dallas Mavericks

DSJ has the potential to be the next Derrick Rose, capable of producing a highlight reel play on any given night.

Frank Ntilikina — Guard, New York Knicks

Frank is a 19-year-old Frenchman with a vibrant, humble personality. He’s one of the Knicks cornerstone pieces and is playing in the world’s biggest market.

CJ McCollum — Guard, Portland Trail Blazers

CJ might play in a small-market but he’s well known across the league. Damian Lillard and McCollum make a very difficult to guard 1–2 punch.

Lou Williams — Guard, Los Angeles Clippers

Drake’s hit, 6 Man, pays homage to Williams. He’s known across the league as a guy that get’s buckets. Simple as that.

Seth Curry — Guard, Dallas Mavericks

While being the brother of superstar, Steph Curry, Seth Curry is a great player in his own right. He has the potential to be a great partner for a brand collaboration.

Lauri Markkanen— Forward, Chicago Bulls

He’s a smooth 7'0 Finnish big man that is already the Bulls best player — even as a rookie.

Donovan Mitchell — Guard, Utah Jazz

Mitchell plays for a small market team, but with a 40+ point game under his belt already, he might be the rookie to watch.

Javale McGee — Center, Golden State

Javale is Shaq’s favorite player to make fun of. The Twittersphere knows a ton about their ongoing fued. Someone needs to take advantage of this.

Jaylen Brown — Center, Golden State

Crazy athletic, hard worker, tough defender. If your from Boston that’s how you’d describe Jaylen Brown.
