We at SocialRank are always searching for new ways to help brands and agencies get the most out of our software.

This week’s Power User Trick is using the Bio Keyword Search to find your Twitter or Instagram followers on outside social networks (i.e. Youtube, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram when on Twitter, and Twitter when on Instagram).

Two of the most popularly sought after outside networks include Snapchat and Youtube. There are a number of Bio Searches that can assist users in locating usernames through alternate platforms:

  1. Snapchat

If an individual or brand is searching for Snapchat usernames from your Twitter/Instagram following, the standard Bio Keyword searches include looking for the words: SnapChat, Snap, SC, etc.

An additional option in searching for users disclosing their Snapchat information in their biography is to search using the ghost Emoji:

The ghost Emoji is the way a large number of users, especially younger users, display their Snapchat username in their Instagram or Twitter bio. If your brand is looking for a way to pinpoint audience members through Snap, this tip can broaden your results.

2. YouTube

Youtube can be discovered similarly, through searching for keywords: Youtube, YT, Y, YBE:

A YouTube account can also be discovered through the television Emoji:

Discovering an influencer or particular audience member through their YouTube channel can unveil opportunities to spread awareness, and allow mutual benefit through their personal subscribers.

The ability to target multiple outside networks through a single search effort can allow for hasty influencer discovery, heighten promotional reach, and provide a simplistic method of pinpointing a target demographic.
