Today we are thrilled to announce that Trufan, a Social Intelligence Platform, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire SocialRank.

We’ve spent the last 5 years building the best-in-class audience segmentation software for social media, with customers like the NBA, NFL, Netflix, Samsung, L’Oreal, and more. We are happy that the team at Trufan will continue this work into the future.

For the past year we’ve been getting to know the team at Trufan and the fit with their social intelligence platform that focuses on helping brands activate their grassroots communities, couldn’t be stronger.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank the SocialRank community, the forward thinking brands we have worked with over the years, our partners, and everyone that has been part of the SocialRank journey.

Starting today we will be transitioning responsibilities over to Trufan and SocialRank will continue as a standalone product. While the SocialRank team plan to stay on as advisors to Trufan (during the transition and into the future), we are moving on to a new venture called Upstream.

It is still in beta and not ready for primetime yet, but Upstream is a new social professional network. We are reimagining what a professional network would look like, built today for your phone.
