60% of Ghana Undeveloped — Unpaved Roads Are Death Traps

Ghanaian children are attending school under trees right now as you’re reading this. Nine Ghanaian children died taking a boat to school, in a small body of water, a foot bridge could’ve prevented.

Someone donated life vests so that these children can wear then now when in the boat to go to school.

Ghanaians are unable to drive on flooded, unpaved roads, right now as you’re reading this. Tanker drivers who deliver the fuel in Ghana went on strike because the roads in Ghana are so deplorable. There is so much that the $3.5 million USD could have been spent on, besides this memorial.

Ghanaians been protesting almost everyday for their roads to either be paved or repaired. According to a Ghana government website as of 2021 only 23–27 % of their roads are paved.
