Today, I came across a rather interesting artifact and its called Solar Roads. From my understanding, this currently hasn’t come out yet due to costs, but I would love to see this happen in the future. Now, what do I mean by Solar Roads? I’m saying that we are trying to create solar panels that work as roads. In some places, like France made these Solar Roads that have produced a lot of energy. It was said that these roads produced four hundred and nine kilowatts per day. Which is pretty sweet. They even shaped the Solar Panels in an octagonal format so that it will be easier to replace instead of having to replace one huge road. Now imagine having these Solar Roads across the entire United States. We could use these Solar panels to power up cities, and possibly the entire country if we were able to replace all roads with Solar Roads. From what I have learned we could create LED lights to use for the lines in the roads or even the turn signals. We could even use these Solar Roads, and create interesting art shows, or interesting parades, because we would be able to use these roads as LED lights as well. Now also imagine these Solar Roads being able to clear out all the snow off. This could also be a thing because we could use the energy that the Solar Roads have created, and use the heat from them. This would be able to solve icy roads or even roads that would have too much snow that causes wrecks. I mean we wouldn’t even have to worry about all those things anymore. It could save a lot of wrecks due to weather problems. Now I think the only reason why this hasn’t launched is because of the cost. I don’t remember the cost but from my understanding, the cost for building these roads are about ten times the cost would be for a normal road.
