Socket Community Update #3

Last month, suffice to say has been an exciting month both for markets(we hope you’re doing okay!) and Socket where we had a series of events and announcements.

If you haven’t been following along with our updates, here is the rundown to get you up to speed over a cup of coffee! ☕

Integration testimonials 🎉

Socket adds value to our partners on a daily basis and is able to provide a truly multichain experience to users. Here are some snippets from partners & devs:

• A quick glimpse into how we simplify the bridging experience for Ambire wallet users

#L222 campaign & Refuel demand 🌉

Bungee and imToken jointly conducted our first campaign to onboard users to Arbitrum for #L222 summer! The campaign was a great success and managed to get 5000+ users to make their first jump to Arbitrum and try out the apps on its ecosystem.

The refuel feature became a go-to feature among Bungee users and saw a whooping 2500 refuel transactions in just a month from launch

Last month, you would have caught the Socket team in several media appearances including:

• AMA with frens from Timeswap where our co-founders presented some interesting ideas on the future of cross-chain DeFi
• Our co-founder Rishabh joined the OG Tally Ho’s community call discussing Socket’s role in the multichain world

We also conducted our first-ever office hours with Shrey and VC giving a rundown of how refuel works behind the scenes!

Product Updates 🛠️

We got major product upgrades for both Socket & Bungee this month

• Socket’s liquidity layer got a performance overhaul with quotes now delivered blazingly fast!
• Socket’s v2 APIs now give our partners a better breakdown of fees
• Across & Optimism native bridge now live on Bungee
• Bungee now supports Walletconnect and also added a slick UX for mobile support

Multichain Hub 📚

DPB, our technical writer continued to publish some great educational content to learn all about the multichain. If you are just starting out, here is a simple learning guide for you to become a multichainoor overnight.

Community 💜

Last but not the least, our coolest community of Socketeers! We are proud to have grown to a 7.7K strong Discord community & 14.5K super followers across our Twitter socials!

While the Socket community has significantly grown, there is still an ever-passionate curiosity & desire to contribute as we build towards the grand multichain vision, and we can’t be more thankful 🙏
