At the 17th European Conference on E-learning in Athens I had the opportunity to meet a wealth of academics, educators, policy makers and more, all of whom were working towards expanding our e-learning horizons. I was fascinated by many of the talks, ranging from technology for relational maths to designing campus tours in RPG Maker. After presenting my own paper on whether flipped learning meets the technological learning needs of mature students (which will be published in the conference proceedings (ISBN 978–1–912764–08–2) later in the year), I enjoyed discussing my research and its intersections with other research with the many technology-enhanced learning enthusiasts!
