Terrariums are nowadays one of the best and affordable ways to bring fresh green to your home without a lot of effort. With just some basic supplies, you can build these all-inclusive habitats that allow plants to thrive. Although terrariums are easy to craft, getting all of the artistic elements and quality plants together can be both tiring and difficult. The plants are not difficult to procure but the shapely glass containers and nifty garden embellishments are not all that easy to find in the city. And the materials we get in online cost too much for our budget. Most materials come in a wholesale range which creates a pile of leftover materials which we may or may not use in the future. People have come up with varieties of ideas to solve these problems like a mini terrarium making kit or Terrariums as a start-up are flourishing like anything these days.

How about buying a whole new stylish terrarium?

DO YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE?

Being a stay-at-home mother, an Agri-graduate, or anyone who wants to experiment with creativity and a piece of nature. People’s love for a terrarium is spreading like wildfire and tell me, who can say no to a cute and lovely piece of creativity woven with nature. Most of the start-ups are thriving to the extent that they are raking a monthly income of at least ₹40,000 every month! Especially people around all the megacities began loving these tiny gardens so much that requests for workshops and DIY kits are flowing in which has again created a new arena of business for the terrarium traders.

Can we all afford to buy a terrarium?

WHAT ALL ARE OUT THERE?

This is an often-debated question among middle-class families and average salary earners. The answer is both yes and no. The cost of a terrarium depends on the design and plants used. Priced between Rs.150 and Rs.1000, terrariums are ideal for people who are busy with work because these do not require high maintenance. Some of them require to be watered only once in three weeks and some require a weekly intake of water and again for people who are still lazy to water can always use a filler as last resort. These affordable ones are easy to maintain and pleasing to the eyes. And often people leave out the idea of making one on their own. As much as these little plant systems look complicated, many start-ups try to bust in workshops. And talking about maintenance, even first-grade students can manage one.

SIMPLE & HUMBLE?

the ultimate luxury in life is enjoying it to its fullest… and plants are one of its element!

So basically this is a LUXURY!!

OR EXTRAVAGANT?

Workshops only for terrariums may be a bit unattractive and less feasible for people who are interested. So, most of the start-ups are coupling it with aquaponics, tissue culture, or mushroom cultivation training to attract more people. Succulents, cacti, moss, ferns, creepers, and air plants are mostly used plants in terrariums. Terrariums are not only for homes and happy to say, techies are the frequent customers in terrarium shops as they prefer a piece of art and nature on their office desk. Terrariums are indeed a shining example of how cramped urban spaces can be enlivened with a dash of green and that too in a creatively effortless manner.

Adios……….
