Introducing Solidified — Audit Platform for Smart Contracts

With the increasing popularity of Smart Contracts among developers and hackers alike, there is an urgent need for better quality control.

Developers want an affordable way to confirm their contract will work as expected, that doesn’t require a massive upfront investment of $20k — $50k.

Community wants a safer and more stable ecosystem, that can last a month without millions being stolen due to coding errors.

Lots of segmented efforts have been done to create best practices and some tooling, but no formal verification standard has emerged. Moreover, no reputable, community-driven platform exists to help bring all this together.

Today, we’re happy to introduce Solidified, a platform for crowd-sourced review of smart contracts, where any developer can bring their contract for review with our large network of verified blockchain experts.

Solidified takes its name from Solidity language and carries the spirit of “hardening” your code through many iterations of peer-review.

In the spirit of transparency, all audit feedback, results, patches and community sentiment are visible to the public.

We’ve developed Solidified with a Certification standard in mind, requiring all auditors go through a standardized review process, which combines a list of known Smart Contract pitfalls, security considerations, Solidity construct usage and best practices.

We’ve also developed a “Spec of Intended Behavior”, supplied by developer at the time of submission, that encompasses all conditions that should hold during contract execution, along with estimated gas calculations and evaluation criteria for correctness.

Our scheduled launch is November, 2017.
