EFT tapping for self-love is a great way to heal any negative relationship that you have with yourself.
A negative relationship comes about if we are constantly in self-criticism and if we have difficulty embracing ourself. Just imagine, being friends with someone. If we are criticising our friend repeatedly, the relationship can become toxic.
We erode our sense of self when we repeatedly affirm “I am not loveable” or “I am not good enough to be loved”. Doing so can only weigh us down. It impacts our ability to function well, be confident, and to achieve success in the world. By creating and believing in these stories, we are in self-sabotage.
There was a time when I would be particularly harsh inwards. I can’t say that I no longer criticise myself but things have improved a great deal. These days, I am more mindful about what I do say to myself. The result is that I am a lot happier, more forgiving and accepting. Amazingly, I also found out that the positive shifts I made internally translated to improved relationships with my loved ones too.
