Several years ago, when I lived in Brazil, one of my neighbors started selling a suspicious course on how to make money using Instagram.
The problem? She marketed it exclusively on Instagram. Oh, and what was her experience making money using Instagram? Selling that course.
Doesn’t that sound like a marketing version of a Möbius strip, endlessly looping back on itself?
This is a classic example of what calls a Tautological Grifter practicing what I call “recursive marketing,” and I don’t want you to fall prey to it.
More importantly, I don’t want you to practice it.
