My Plan to Make $5,000 From My Side Hustle — June Updates

It’s my (regularly) late monthly updates.

June is an interesting month. I was disappointed, but I was happier.

It’s a mix of emotions I can’t seem to put into words.

The journey thus far

At the beginning of the year, I had the ambition to boost my side hustle income to $5,000/month from:

• Medium
• Selling on Etsy
• Affiliate/Newsletter
• Creating digital courses

Every month, I track my progress:

• Jan — $1,360.76
• Feb — $905.13
• Mar — $959.18
• Apr — $778.18
• May — $698.39

Sadly, it was on a decline, and I know why. I moved countries and overestimated how much time and effort I needed to put in if I wanted to make more money.

The only way to increase my income is to work for it but I didn’t.

The truth is that I hit a plateau; I needed to reassess my priorities. In the last few months, I made no effort to build my side hustles. I wrote only five articles on Medium and did…
