Staked solUST is a staking derivative of solUST. Staked solUST earns interest in solUST from Anchor Protocol periodically throughout the day. Because interest is paid out in the same token that is staked, a composable staking derivative token is issued.

Staked solUST has always existed and was abstracted away from users by denominating all deposits in solUST. We will continue to use this methodology for the Soluna interface. However, we encourage and support others to integrate staked solUST into their protocol.
