We have started to roll out the new methods we were working on for a long time now. We are still gathering data and feedback to analyze and optimize but we are confident with the current state of the development.
Solebox, however, is currently having some difficulties. We are actively working on a lot of things and fixing Solebox again is one of them.
Performance, stability, and a lot of benchmarking is what we have worked on in the last weeks as we have now actively initiated the preparations for our public, 1.0 release. More on this topic follow now…
The path to 1.0
Yes, we have started the preparations for 1.0. We are also changing up some things, they are small adjustments but after a lot of discussions and ideas, we have come to this conclusion which we will share with you in this recap.
License transition phase
If you are still part of the SolydBot beta phase you will be granted access to upgrade your license. As we already stated, there will be no lifetime licenses sold, so you will be able to upgrade from free beta to paid renewal. When the time has come, we will announce this transition phase on our Discord server, you will have 2 days to decide whether you want to upgrade or not. If not, your license will be deleted.
The new price
Probably the one thing we have debated the most about is the current pricing model of the SolydBot project. We have come to the following result:
If you currently own a Renewal license there are no costs for you, as promised, 6 months from the point we fully have transitioned to 1.0.
That means no costs for at least the rest of this year. Also, you will be paying the set 59€ every 6 months after your renewal date expired. No changes for you.
Lifetime licenses are self-explanatory, no costs either — for as long as SolydBot exists.
If you want to upgrade your beta or catch a SolydBot restock, here is the new price model we have made:
1-time license price: 199€
Renewal fee (every 3 months): 59€
Further details will be communicated on our Discord server, you will be able to upgrade your license via the dashboard, credit card only.
We have decided to not automatically charge the renewal fees after 3 months, instead, you will be asked if you would like to extend your use of SolydBot in time and are prompted to fulfill the renewal payment by yourself.
We are excited to walk the final path of our beta phase and are also happy that a lot of users were able to have lots of successful checkouts and profit margins with their free licenses.
The transition date is not set yet. You are still able to use your licenses as usual.
Achievements
Success
July 2020 we were still struggling with some obstacles but our users were still able to checkout over 4200 pairs. We are confident in bringing back more performance and hopefully even more checkouts in the near future with the continuous optimization and results of our benchmarking in the past weeks.
