I love rice! It’s a kind of comfort food to me which I can’t resist. And No wonder you may find people like me in every Indian household. We Indians have a deluge of rice dishes from simple dal chawal to biryani, rice is a quintessential part of our everyday meal. Then we also have this combo rice recipes like rajma chawal, dahi chawal, pulao, chole chawal, and the list goes on. One recipe which not being an Indian recipe has a huge fan following is “Fried Rice” . We all have once or often tried to make fried rice at home but have failed to get that exact taste of our favorite Chinese restaurant.

But now you can here are some secrets ingredients which you can use that makes your fried rice just like you have at your favorite Chinese restaurant

Take a look at the ingredients

1 bowl of leftover rice

(The reason we take leftover rice is that it can’t get mushy when mixing it. And if you take steamed cooked rice there are chances of it getting mushy as they still have moist and water in it)

2–3 finely chopped green chilies

1teaspon ginger paste

5–6 garlic cloves finely chopped

2 finely chopped onions

1/2 cup finely chopped spring onion

1/2 cup finely chopped french beans

1/2 cup finely chopped capcicum

1/2 cup finely chopped carrot

1tsp black pepper powder

1/2 cup shredded cabbage

1 tbsp Chili sauce

1 tbsp Ching’s fried rice masala

1tbsp Soy Sauce

1tablespoon Tomato Sauce

Salt to taste

How to make

Place a pan on the flame put oil into the pan.

Add Finely chopped ginger, garlic, and green chilies and saute well

Now add finely chopped onion and spring onion and saute well.

Now add finely chopped carrot and saute well

(Remember we have to maintain the crunch of these all vegetables so do not overcook them)

Now add your shredded cabbage and capcicum and mix well

(The reason I have added these veggies at the end is because they take very less time to cook)

Now mix all vegetables well and cook it for 2 minutes

Add salt to taste and black pepper and again mix well.

Now add 1table spoon chilli sauce, tomato sauce and soy sauce

(you can use Ching’s Chinese sauces they are really awesome to make Chinese at home)

Now let it shimmer for some time.

Now add Ching’s fried rice masala and mix well

( most of the restaurant use Chinese seasoning which are now available in the market but you can use the above also)

Now add rice into it and mix well

Now garnish with some finely chopped spring onion and serve hot

All you have to do is toss the rice with cooked veggies and spices together, and in no more than 20 minutes, you’ll have a delicious meal to savour. Do try this recipe and let me Know in the comment section below
