Yesterday I visited Jordan Peterson’s event here in Thessaloniki and it was extremely interesting. Not the event itself but my interaction with one avid supporter of his.

Before we delve into the details of said interaction, I want to talk a bit about the lecture itself.

The event was poorly organized

Maybe it’s because Greeks have very low standards but the event was structured very poorly. It was supposed to start at 8 PM but instead, it started at 9 PM. Not with Jordan Peterson but with a music performance and then a small introduction to Peterson’s lecture by his wife.

It seemed that the event wasn’t rehearsed, and everyone wasn’t prepared properly. The introduction by his wife had a lot of awkward pauses, her thoughts and thought process wasn’t well structured and it was overall mediocre.

The lecture on the other hand was very well structured. Jordan’s thoughts were a bit random at times but had a nice flow overall and I can safely say that the lecture had a lot of value.

After the lecture, there was the Q&A which lasted fifteen to twenty minutes and it only included three questions, which…
