The Republican Party once had Standards

We need to discuss a few things that occurred in American Politics. Maybe this article should be titled, “An All Time Low in American Politics Redux” Audio Video was released of Donald Trump making offensive remarks about women’s genitals. Donald Trump is talking to Billy Bush, who is a nephew of former Presidential Candidate Jeb Bush, about how he (Donald Trump) “grabs them by the p*ssy.” Donald Trump, a candidate for President of the United States, is openly talking about sexual assault. He is openly talking about sexual abuse, and moreover about committing violence against woman. Is it any surprise why Secretary Clinton took the lead, and is now leading by eight points in national polls? However, I want to discuss members of the Republican Party, more specifically, those who are aiding and abetting a man who brags about committing violence against women. History will not be kind to you, and your band of deplorable followers. One can only sugar coat the language they use to describe Trump and his supporters so much before they need to come right out and say what they mean. So if you are supporting this man, you are a deplorable human being, and if you have endorsed him, then you are even more deplorable than the Americans who are going to vote for him. At some point principle has to mean something. Sadly for the Republican Party principles are just another talking point. Not only does Mr. Trump advocate for sexual assault and violence against women, he does not apologize for it either.

Furthermore, with the audio being released, in which case he is OK with Howard Stern calling his daughter Ivanka “a piece of a**,” I feel that it’s time the question be asked, have you Ivanka Trump ever been sexually assaulted by your father? We already know he isn’t a groper, but has he ever, in any way touched you inappropriately.

However, we must shift to last nights Presidential Debate. So first off, and this is truly the most disgusting thing Trump said in the debate, “If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation, because there has never been so many lies, so much deception.” Secretary Clinton responded by saying, “It’s just awfully good someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.” He then countered by saying, “Because you’d be in jail.” That last part was the most disgusting thing that Donald Trump said in that debate, and he said a lot of disgusting things in that debate last night. Now anyone who understands the government and has passed any, and I mean any civics class, knows that the Justice Department is not a political weapon that you wield. It’s the Justice Department; it’s the department that makes laws, and those laws apply to all Americans not just those that agree with them. Trump is showing that he would take a Richard Nixon approach to the Executive Branch, meaning who knows America; a list of opponents that he needs to get back at, a list of people who didn’t vote for him, a list of names, names of people like you and I people who oppose bigotry. I certainly hope that if he does start a list of those he feels he needs to get back at because he is a shallow and pathetic man that my name is on that list. Not to mention that Democracy as a form of government doesn’t have lists that would be what Donald Trump desperately wants and that is a Dictatorship. So I will come right out and say if you are planning on voting for this man then you are deplorable. Furthermore, if you’ve endorsed him than you are even more deplorable than those who support him. If you have a yard sign in your yard you bet that I’m judging you as I drive by your house. It’s time to choose a side; you are either on the side of Democracy or you are on the side that desperately wants a totalitarian state; a state that allows for lists of people who disagree with the head dictator, a state where one person is in charge and people are being round up (oh wait he has already proposed that, look at his immigration stance). So again if you intend to support this man to be the next president then you are deplorable. Again, at some point principle has to mean something. Sadly for the Republican Party principles are just another talking point.
