As The Wind From A Distance

I am as silence
passing through this land
with great weariness
and a heavy heart,
I am as the wind
from a distance,
drifting off towards bluer skies,
I am as a faded memory lost
within the clouds —
only to cause darkened skies
and torrential floods
when I finally remember
the storm it held.
