Glass Jar Washed Ashore

I am a glass jar
just washed ashore — the dark seas
knew of my fear yet
delivered infinity
that broke me from the inside.

Within, a hollow
soul shelters deeper waters
in vain — another
story already written
only to be torn apart.

The merciless waves
still cradle me with remorse,
but that does not change
my broken essence — the shards
bear the message from my veins.
