Esbjörn Svensson Trio, unconventional Jazz

E.S.T was a Swedish Piano Jazz trio formed in 1993, composed by Esbjörn Svensson (piano), Dan Berglund (double bass), and Magnus Öström (drums). They became popular for their vibrant style which has its roots in Classical Swedish Jazz and evolves into an experimental and innovative energy embracing Rock influences and Electronic effects. Unfortunately, Svensson died in a scuba diving accident in Stockholm on 14 June 2008.
