When gang life meets goth black nail polish, when tattooed chicanos are brawling with a Depeche Mode soundtrack: here are Prayers, performing dark electro vibes with a spray of hip hop. This cholo duo born in San Diego in 2013 is really flipping some stereotypes, making news for their aggressive visual aesthetics that goes hand in hand with their music. The last album Young Gods, released for LaSalle Records, was produced by Travis Barker (Blink-182, Transplants), who replaced the drum machine the band uses on tour. Let’s start from their provocative videos. And don’t don’t don’t miss Pet Shop Boys’ West End Girls cover!
