Forged in 2007 by Kevin Parker (arranger, songwriter, vocalist and producer), Tame Impala have had success after success since their debut, nice to know the first two albums are mixed by Flaming Lips producer Dave Fridmann. Whether you listen to Tame Impala for the hell of it or for kaleidoscopically expanding your musical horizons doing the “genealogy of ideas” game, do not ignore the lyrics’ emotional components. Just let it happen, it’s gonna feel so good.
