Magnificent Swing of Magnolia Snowball
Tap tap tap…
This sound, I heard it a lot. The sound of merry footsteps of a dancing bird. Her nest is always full of head-nodding tip and tap and clip and clap.
Tap tatatap tap tap…
It is captivating, mesmerizing. I hope I can move as gracefully as her. She is no other than the Magnolia Snowball. She moves beautifully, she sings soulfully. She knows how to properly handle little bards and birds, teaches them how to chirp and to flap.
Tap tap-tap tap…
I try to move like her. No point in trying, I better just stick to watching the Magnolia Snowball do her routine of heel tap, and the stomp, a little sliding with another tap tap tap. All that, after the shaking of her muscles and ankles, to make them relaxed. So fun to watch her. I can’t help but sway along awkwardly yet merrily.
Other days when she isn’t doing her taptaptap routine, I find her singing and reciting songs. How graceful of her showing her sweetness and compassion, walking in someone’s shoes by singing that someone’s chanted harmony. She’s a friend, a teacher who embraces and leads, a loving mother to all.
Another day, she would flap her wings and travel The Kingdom. She would find weary souls, she would seek those who need comfort. One time, as she discovers a sad little bird perching on one of the branches, she flies nearing her and tries to console. She brushes away the tears with light conversation in a sing-songy voice that makes everyone nod along softly until they realize the silver linings from their dire and burdening situation.
Everyone agrees and convinced, her peep and cheep sent upon them to answer their wail and frail. To make us believe the silver linings, the happy endings.
