I hope you see her somewhere in the stars
rewritten from this grief in living light
beyond the chains that held her, iron bars
be shattered now, lay down the weary fight
that lingered on too long, the bitter war
that turned her breathing bones to bitter stone
the wellspring whence her heavy tears would pour
and she, an island left to float alone
within the raging waves. Serenity…
