Grant Milestone 1☑️ Let’s BUIDL!🔥

Over the past couple of months we have been hard working to lay the foundation for a completely new NFT marketplace experience that aims to provide an enhanced feature set with new backend services and an API that is specifically tailored towards our revamped UI.

We are extremely excited to announce that after sharing our milestone 1 achievements in detail with the XPR consortium, represented by Rhett from EOS Amsterdam, our work results were approved.

As follow up, we got a compensation for milestone 1 work to cover missing funds of ~8,000 USD (see transaction) due to loss of value of XPR against USD and the payment stream for milestone 2 has been started (see transaction).

Milestone 1 — Achievements

• Clickable Design Prototype in Adobe XD
• Epics & prioritized User Stories in a dedicated project management repository on GitHub for development in an agile environment to deliver the functionality defined in the design prototype
• New Infrastructure as Code (IaC) setup with automated provisioning via Terraform and deployments on Kubernetes following a GitOps approach with ArgoCD and Argo Workflows
• Description & diagrams for a new Software Architecture
• Template application for contract & fork event processing, using the antelope-ship-reader & Apache Kafka
• OpenAPI 3.0 spec for the API that fits the needs of the upcoming UI. This API will replace the eos-contract-api for us, which is used by all existing marketplaces

What’s next?

BUIDL, BUIDL, BUIDL!

We will start with the development shortly and our plan is to make our project management repository public so that the XPR community can follow our progress.

In addition to that, we aim to provide the XPR community access to the development environment as soon as we achieve a shareable state of the UI. This will allow everybody to give us instant feedback.

Independent of our marketplace efforts, we are also in contact with the Guards of the NFT Watch DAO to finally ship the Smart Contract based solution to govern blacklisted and shielded NFT collections. The goal is to provide a native integration of this solution into Soon.Market.
