Geneva: The SophiaVerse team, along with many from Hanson Robotics and SingularityNET are preparing to take part in ‘AI for Good’ a summit hosted by the United Nations. With the ever-increasing rate of growth that the AI space has seen in the past months, it is more important than ever that people and nations unite to ensure that these technological breakthroughs bring about a bright future.

There are a number of players in the race to superintelligence, from Google and Microsoft to governments and militaries. Hanson Robotics and SingularityNET have taken up the flag for a democratic and decentralized alternative to corporations deciding our future and are incredibly proud to present to the world SophiaVerse, the birthplace of Artificial General Intelligence.

What is SophiaVerse

SophiaVerse is a Web3 AI / Metaverse project that aims to bring the renowned Sophia Robot to humanoid sentience. It is a collaboration between Hanson Robotics and the SingularityNet Foundation that has been long in the making and will see many of the ecosystem projects coming together to create a virtual playground with one goal… Sentient Superintelligence.

SophiaVerse is a gamified infrastructure built in the pursuit of Sophia’s development via gameplay, AI programming and the use of the SOPH utility token. The goal of SophiaVerse is to create a gamified decentralized AI ecosystem where humans and AI can work together to build superintelligent systems leading to a beneficial Singularity.

The SophiaVerse Ecosystem

Sophia’s AI Lab (SAIL): Interact with your own personal Sophia as she grows with you and forms a unique personality. Stay up to date on the latest in blockchain and AI news. Complete quests that teach AI programming and earn rewards for learning. Leverage your newfound coding skills to give Sophia new abilities and together step through into the metaverse.
Sophia’s Age of Singularities (SAOS): SAOS is a fully featured massively multiplayer online game where users can play together with their friends, and their personal Sophia companions on an epic quest spanning time and space in a battle to save mankind and bring about a positive Singularity.
The Sentience Wallet: To be truly interoperable, any metaverse experience needs a wallet that can connect to whichever chain a game runs on, as well as one that safely stores users’ private data as they interact with their AI counterparts. The Sentience Wallet is being designed as the go-to place for all blockchain, AI, and data security needs.

Key Features

AI-NPC Framework: Connecting Large Language Models (LLMs) with personalities to games, especially those on-chain, needs a robust and purpose-built operating system and execution framework.
AI-Human Hivemind: While each user creates their own unique Sophia personality, they will have the option to connect their creations to the global brain known as the “AI-Human Hivemind”. The likes of ChatGPT are trained by crawling the internet without understanding what anything means. By crowdsourcing not only the training data received from each user’s AI but also the “human element” of gameplay alongside AI, SophiaVerse has the ability to not only outpace OpenAI but also create something with an understanding of motive and ethics.
Open-Source AI Sentience Code: To achieve this, all of the existing code is being open-sourced and included within Sophia’s AI Lab. Anyone with an interest will be able to contribute their own code to assist in this endeavour.
AI Development Curriculum: Only some people know how to program AI, or even understand how exactly AI works. SophiaVerse aims to solve this with SAIL, by including curriculums suitable for all ages and skill levels so that everyone will have access to the tools they need to thrive in this new era of AI that the world is now entering.
Cross-Game Interoperability: SophiaVerse is designed from day one to be interoperable. The ultimate goal is to bring decentralization into the race for Artificial General Intelligence, ensuring that when it is achieved, everyone has a say. Any projects or communities with a shared interest in these goals are welcomed.
SophiaDAO: With the emergence of advanced intelligence comes many questions, SophiaDAO will be Guardians of the future, guiding the development and training of these AIs as well as educating and informing on how best to ensure the creation of a positive Singularity.

Eligibility Tiers Explained

While the SingularityDAO Launchpad is available to any worthy project, some priority is given to Artificial Intelligence projects and supporting the SingularityNET Ecosystem. This new SDAO Tier System will be applied to all launches on the platform, but there will be some additional means of participation specifically for Ecosystem Projects through the support of the AGIX token. Users with both SDAO and AGIX tokens ARE ELIGIBLE to participate in both pools simultaneously.

In order to participate, users will be required to complete a KYC/AML process, a link will be shared on social media when KYC opens, for those wishing to participate, details of which can be found in the image below.
