What does an education-focused social learning app look like?

Are you struggling to keep your engagement with your students?

Ever wonder how the powers of social engagement can be used in the education sector?

Let’s see what’s going on with our social e-learning application in Asia- Soqqle!

1. Integration of social features on our mobile application

2. Strong focus on Language and Science learning

3. Established existence in Indonesia, Hong Kong and Singapore

Integrate features of social gamification

Soqqle is a Learning Experience Platform (LXP). One of our recent strengths is to integrate video and images scrolling features prominent in up-to-date social apps to better facilitate social learning.

According to research[1] done by professors from Indiana University, it was found that people who observed and imitated others achieve better results. It is much better than participants struggling for innovations in isolation. Soqqle, which identifies this trend, allows students to learn from one another and creates a larger impact compared to traditional classroom learning.

Strong focus on Language and Science learning

Learning languages can be difficult. Social learning technology could change that by placing students in a digital-native environment. Such a tool can give students an experimental space for students to apply skills learnt in class into real life. Here’s where a social learning application like Soqqle comes in. Students view each other’s posts on Soqqle, and can learn peer to peer. This helps teachers to create a new type of learning engagement not seen before.

One other topic Soqqle can be used is Science. Soqqle can help Science teachers to easily view personalized student laboratory experiments. The app’s video recording function allows students to document findings easily. These are saved and viewed in a web dashboard for viewing at a comfortable pace. Finally there is a way for students to evidence their learning of scientific theories difficult to show in a traditional learning environment. .

Established existence in Indonesia, Hong Kong and Singapore

Soqqle has an established presence in Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. Our app has proven to increase engagement of ‘in and outside’ classrooms from high school to universities. Teachers enjoy using Soqqle because of how it aims to improve collaborations between themselves and students. The ability to create a positive impact in education is critical.

We continue to hope to meet more enthusiastic educators to join into our learning environment.
