Sorare: Football 2022–23 Second Division Leagues
COVERAGE:
We are excited to announce coverage for the top European second divisions.
Starting Friday, August 26th (Game Week 300), players that play in the leagues below will be scored in Sorare: Football:
- German Bundesliga 2 (2. Bundesliga)
- Spanish LaLiga Smartbank (Segunda Division)
- Italian Serie B (Serie BKT)
- French Ligue 2 (Ligue 2 BKT)
- English Football League (EFL) Championship (also known as Championship — *previously covered)
COMPETITIONS:
We will start rolling out a new competition called “Second Division Europe” this fall and will update Managers when we have more details to share on timing.
Rules:
- Cards must be of players from the second division of Champion Europe leagues
Rewards:
- Second division Champion Europe starters and regulars
Competition Requirements:
- Second Division Europe Limited: five Limited cards
- Second Division Europe Rare: five Rare cards
- Second Division Europe Rare Pro: at least three Rare cards, up to two Super Rare cards
- Second Division Europe Super Rare: at least three Super Rare cards, up to one Rare cards, up to 1 Unique card
- Second Division Europe Unique: at least three Unique cards, and up to 2 Super Rare cards (Will be opening when card supply is sufficient for gameplay)
***Championship players were previously eligible to play in Challenger Europe competitions when it opened. Those players will no longer be eligible in Challenger Europe and will only be eligible in the Second Division Europe competitions.
In addition, all second division player cards will be eligible to enter the global competitions, similar to any player featured in a card, since second division leagues are competitive relative to the other leagues.

- Global All Star
- Global Under 23
- Specialist, Underdog, and Special Weeklies
A lot of players get their start in the European second division and we are excited for Sorare Managers to scout for new and emerging talent. We can’t wait to see which player cards you will collect from these leagues, and see who will end up either getting promoted to the first division or snatched by another first division club.
