Sorare Launches 3D Card Virtual Treasure Hunt — Win Trip to Fly With AC Milan to Attend Europe Match

Ahead of launching our Sorare Football 3D digital player cards for the 2023–24 European season, we’re inviting every Sorare Manager to embark on a thrilling adventure: Join us for a global (virtual) treasure hunt spread across three cities with a once-in-a-lifetime trip up for grabs.

Why participate? The first person to complete the treasure hunt before October 10, 2023, wins the ultimate AC Milan prize package: fly with the team to attend one of its Europe matches, complete with VIP tickets! Here’s what you need to know to get involved in the #Sorare3DHunt:

Prizing

The first person to complete the treasure hunt receives the following grand prize:

• The incredible opportunity to fly with the AC Milan team to attend a Europe away match in October or November 2023
• Two tickets to the AC Milan away match
• Five (5) 2022–23 AC Milan Rare Cards

That’s right, we’re running back the AC Milan trip of a lifetime! Check out the video recap from last season’s AC Milan “Fly With The Team” experience.

In addition to the grand prize, we’re giving way two more prizes:

• Sorare merchandise — We’re rewarding dozens of Managers who participate in the treasure hunt with Sorare hats. Keep an eye on Sorare X (formerly Twitter) and stay engaged all the way!
• Premier League tickets — One of the words you’ll find as part of the hunt leads to a one-month Champion Europe Limited Private League. As soon as this private league gets to 500 participants, we’ll close it out. The private league starts Game Week 411 (Sept. 29) and ends GW 420 (Nov. 3), with each Manager’s top-five scores making up their overall ranking. Each Manager who finishes in the top 50 of the private league wins two Premier League tickets.

The path to the treasure

This treasure awaits in an Ethereum wallet. You can see the wallet here, with the five Sorare cards in it (the AC Milan Rare Cards prize bundle). And while you have the address, the real challenge lies in accessing it.

The goal of the treasure hunt is for you to find the key to the wallet, which is actually a master password consisting of 12 words. Once you have found all 12 words, arrange them in the correct order to unlock the wallet, withdraw the cards, and transfer them to your own wallet.

As soon as you’ve transferred the cards, please share that you’ve done so via email as soon as possible to prize@sorare.com. With this final step, we’ll verify that you have found the key and announce you as our grand prize winner.

How to find the key

The treasure hunt is accessible to anyone, but you won’t be able to unlock the wallet today (Tuesday, Sept. 5). Over the next seven days, we will release more teaser videos containing clues (see the first one, from London, here).

Some of the master password words will be more challenging to find than others, and you’ll have to work together as a community to get them all — especially as the more challenging aspects of the hunt will come at the end.
