Sorare: NBA Rare & Super Rare Tournament Eligibility Update

Note: The starting time has changed for the below scarcity tournaments; they will now begin Friday, Dec. 16 when Game Week 18 opens.

Sorare: NBA will soon launch new leaderboard eligibility requirements for Rare and Super Rare scarcity tournaments.

Beginning Friday, Dec. 16 when Game Week 18 opens for team submission, Rare and Super Rare lineups will require five matching scarcity cards to be leaderboard-eligible. For example, you’ll need five Rare Cards for a Rare tournament instead of current eligibility that allows mixed scarcity. To recap:

• Rare competition eligibility requirements change from three Rare Cards + two Limited Cards to five Rare Cards.
• Super Rare competition eligibility requirements change from three Super Rare Cards + two Rare Cards to five Super Rare Cards.

The eligibility update was made based on Manager feedback to make Rare and Super Rare tournaments more competitive and balanced.
