With European club football coming to an end, many of you may be wondering what you’re going to do with your Summer?
Well, luckily for us football fans, International players still have plenty of more football before they can jet off on their holidays.

Introducing Global Nations
In our recent AMA, we teased our plans to launch a new international tournament for the Copa America and the Euros. To make the International tournaments as accessible as possible, we’re launching Global Nations — our dedicated tournament for all international fixtures covered by Sorare.
What are the tournament rules?
Global Nations is one single Division. You can enter cards regardless of scarcity, with a maximum of 1 Common card. Rare, Super Rare, and Unique cards will not receive any bonuses.
Only footballers that are part of their nation’s Copa America, Euro 2020, or Euro U21 squad are eligible for selection in this Summer’s Global Nations Tournament.
Will international fixtures be scored in Global All Star?
Players playing for their national teams can also be scored in Global All-Star Div 1–4, Global Unique, and Global U23 Div 1–4 if you choose to select them for those tournaments.
What Competitions are we covering?
- We will be covering the Euro U21 between May 31 and June 6
- Euro 2020 is happening between June 11 and July 11
- Copa America 2021 between June 13 and July 11
- World Cup Qualifiers
What is the reward pool for the Global Nations tournament?
The Global Nations tournament will use the new reward model. The more teams that are playing the more rewards are going to be given out. We’ll have more info to share on this soon!
During these competitions, there will be no special weekly. But, expect some similar twists and turns and interesting prizes in Global Nations.
Won’t some games fall between Game Week Deadlines?
With European seasons coming to an end, we have created new Game Week windows that will ensure that cards from the J-League, K-League, the Americas and the International tournaments will have more utility.
Here are the new times beginning Game Week 170:
- Tuesday 10am UTC
- Friday 10am UTC
A Game Week will start as soon as the previous one ends. Not only will this change mean every Euro 2020 game features, but it will help increase the number of games in Champion Asia.
Note that some fixtures, particularly for Copa America, could fall in a “Double Game Week”. We’re working on a new solution that involves more tactical thinking for Double Game Weeks, but this improvement won’t be introduced for another few months.
