Earlier this month, SOSV hosted its third annual SKYDIVE conference at The Mint in San Francisco. SKYDIVE is the one time a year we get to bring together our global community to share learnings and build skills, as well as connect with peers and leading VCs in the SOSV network. This year we also made a special effort to engage our growing network of corporate partners who are interested in collaborating with startups disrupting their industries. The day included a number of dynamic panel discussions centered around the development of corporate and startup relationships, featuring speakers from Amazon, General Mills, McKesson, and Cargill.

It was a busy day, to say the least, as attendees rotated between three simultaneous tracks of Skills Workshops, Panel Discussions and VC / Corporate Office Hours. We had 178 SOSV founders and staff, 35 corporates, and 41 VCs join us from across the US and 13 countries. By far the greatest feat of the day was facilitating over 300 specially curated 10-minute meetings between our founders and the investors in attendance, who were matched with companies based on their specific investment criteria provided in advance of the event.

Check out the highlight video below for a recap of the day. If you’d like to connect with any of the companies that attended the event (or any other companies in our 600+ portfolio), you can do so using our new investor platform, SOSV Connect, a searchable database of the entire SOSV portfolio of startups. Find companies by accelerator program, vertical, location or stage, and connect directly with founders through the platform.

Hope to see you at the next one!
