SotaTek x Cartesi: Voting DApp — Beta Testing is Done and Ready to Go Live!

We, SotaTek and Cartesi, have just completed the beta-testing phase of a Voting DApp that enables users to vote on candidates in listed campaigns! This app allows users to create their own campaigns and add candidate options to vote on.

The project started in April 2021, with 2 core SotaTek developers, Mr. Sonny Vu (Front-end Dev) and Mr. Albert Nguyen (Back-end Dev), and now the Voting App will be available soon on various platforms. Furthermore, we will continue to add and improve even more fantastic features.

SotaTek was in charge of developing smart contracts & DApps using Cartesi Rollups. To save time, resources, and make use of already-existing technology, we adopted Python and the Cartesi system instead of learning Solidity or Rust.

Meanwhile, the Cartesi platform enables programmers to create DApps using Linux and common programming environments that go beyond Solidity and elevate smart contracts to Linux runtimes, while maintaining the decentralization and security guarantees of blockchains.
