We are the SOTA development team. SOTA is a multi-layered blockchain network based on a Self-Organized Topology Algorithm. It is a multi-purpose solution that enables: — enhanced smart contracts with extendable functionality; — distributed storage and location-specific distributed computing; — near-instant feeless and scalable payments.
The so-called “physical” layer, built using the SOTA algorithm, is the basis of the network architecture. Lying above that layer are “logical” layers: the transaction (TX) layer, the smart contract (SC) layer, and the layer of distributed computing (DC). The SOTA architecture is designed such that its layers complement each other seamlessly to maximize the synergy effect. Each layer is an integral part of the system and determines the special characteristics of other layers.
