This site offers an immersive journey through Google Cloud’s powerful infrastructure, demonstrating, how the largest network in the world makes minimal downtime data transmission possible.

Joann Feng / UX

Be prepared to spend some time on this site, because it is surprisingly entertaining to rack ocean animals.
Want to see how a shark travels along the coast? Or maybe you like turtles more? Just pick an animal and a specific type, and start tracking! You can even see the animal’s sex, weight, size, and age.
It’s not a seamless or flawless experience, but considering what it is and what it does, I would say it’s pretty darn good.

You can also donate a little something to support research and “future generations of explorers, scientists, and stewards of the ocean, and enables leading researchers and institutions to generate previously unattainable data.”

Tova Wahlin / Marketing Manager

I’m a podcast junkie, and Stitcher’s my supplier. The elegance of Stitcher’s mobile app — which lets users browse, save, and listen to podcasts seamlessly, back to back — is matched by that of Stitcher.com. Featuring large-scale photography and intuitive navigation, the site offers lists of podcasts based on popularity, genre — comedy, technology, sports, etc. — and more. Visitors can even see the most-shared episodes from the past week and follow changes in individual shows’ popularity. Podcast heaven.
