“Everything you see has its root in the unseen world. The forms may change, yet the essence remains same”— Rumi

This is how life moves….

Years slapped on one another,
Days piled on days,
Seconds tagged to seconds,

Greasy from the tropical
moisture,
Removes beads of saline drops
To embark on her journey,

The mundane of the linear —
Stringed with shiny beads
of eclectic,
Like a neck piece on a beautiful
face,
Tied in circles that shimmer on
the ordinary,

Flow like the young rivulet
Jumping and bouncing on rocks,
Stop subsided, change tracks,
To start on a new journey
Focussed on it’s goal of
reaching eternity,

A day will dawn,
The sun will rise,
Flowers will bloom,
Birds will sing,

Like life chasing time….

Laughter will flow,
Pain will erase,
Memories will drown
In circling wine,

And one day all will end
Like end comes….

But the fire will rage
Souls will flutter
Minds will fly
Words will roll

And you will take life in your
Cupped palms,
Just the way you will hold water —
And witness your swinging shadow,

Somewhere in this cosmic arrangement
A page will silently turn in the chapter of life
Before it all ends —
For the moments in between,

Remember to
Keep your foot marks that sparkle in the sun
Keep your footnotes that glitter in the memory cells…..

“Every wondrous sight will vanish, every sweet word will fade. But do not be disheartened, the source they come from is eternal, growing, branching out, giving new life and new joy” — Rumi

So long from Soul Bay. Thank you for being the encouragement I often need to move forward.

Leaving you with an old video of Pandit Ravi Shankar in Sitar and Ustad Allah Rakha in Tabla, the duo who single handedly took Indian Classical Music to the world, Enjoy :
