What’s Your Truth?

The greatest gift you can give someone is the truth.

We avoid the truth; we hold it hostage and run from it. We tell ourselves that the truth doesn’t matter. We convince ourselves that our reasons are justified or that we’re protecting the other person.

The truth is, not being honest isn’t about someone else, it’s about your relationship with yourself.

When you withhold the truth you rob the other person of their ability to decide for themselves. When you withhold the truth you mentally imprison yourself.

The truth isn’t always easy and there are times it outright hurts.

Being truthful takes courage. Being compassionately, truthful is an act of unconditional love.
