Isn’t Life Strange?
On growth, change, and the everlasting menace of nothingness
I woke up at 4:30 am the other night. According to science, waking up at this time is a sign of being grounded, aligning with peace and stillness, and connecting with the Divine.
It can also mean a few other things, such as the need to be creative, or the fact that you are about to enter a new beginning, or a new chapter, in your life.
All of these scenarios were ideal for me that night, as it was a couple days before I decided to say “I do” to my other half on my wedding day.
I’ve always loved waking up before sunrise — not because my body wants to, but because my consciousness wants to.
I’m talking about opening your eyes at the moment when the sun hasn’t decided to show its face yet, and your mind is hanging somewhere between reality and the dreamworld.
It is a surreal thing to be awake and aware at a time when most of the world is fast asleep. The game called life seems to run a rebooting program between these eerily morning hours, and I love being able to catch a glimpse of the world around me isn’t the world I usually hear about in my waking state.
