Escapades
Where the memories awake
Retrace the steps that lead us home,
to where our hearts first learned to thrill,
instead of the future’s sterile chrome,
where memories lie cold and still.
Remember sun-drenched summer days on fields
where laughter took flight,
where our whispers whirled in a windblown haze
beneath the moon’s ethereal glow.
Forget the words that turned to ice,
the stinging quiet, and the unfolding love.
Accept the heat of paradise,
where sensuality grew inside the confines of a world.
Allow yourself to be free of burdens, bonds,
and what-ifs spoken in the night.
Rekindle the fire in your veins
and dance in pure joy with me.
As we recapture our youthful spark,
society’s gaze becomes a fading haze.
There are no rules, no judgements,
just us, sir, two souls free in nature’s ark.
Run barefoot over the dewy grass,
with hair like spun and golden thread,
and let the delight of your fingertips
surpass the doubts that have filled our tired minds.
Rewrite the love we left unsaid
in the echoes of that lively past.
With each breath,
a commitment is cast to keep this moment unbroken.
So come, my darling, defy the tide,
and let us get lost in yesterday,
where escapades, permanently linked,
paint futures where love finds its course.
Forget the ending, rebuild the beginning
in fields of dreams where time stands still,
and let our souls, with open hearts,
satisfy once more in love’s embrace.
