APRIL PROMPT 4 | TBR BOOK | 2024
Molecules of Emotion — by Candace Perth
To be read book for April prompt
I am interested in understanding the neuropathways of the mind and heart. How it affects the paradigm of our thoughts. From lectures YouTube videos and TED Talks from neuroscientists like Dr. Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden, and lately, Candace Perth. The science behind what stimulates the way we feel and why we feel them.
Molecules of Emotion was mentioned in the comments of an Instagram thread when people were reacting to a post about why more and more people chose to be alone after the demise of a long relationship. Been on that stage for a while now and I sort of agreed to some of the exchanges. Intrigued, I bought the book recently and it is patiently waiting for me :)
The following books are in my TBR:
Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed
- Or I can rename it TFR (to finish reading). This book is a collection of advice from Dear Sugar — the pseudonym of best-selling author Cheryl Strayed. It reminds me of a time in my life when I too had to use a pseudonym to express myself in a letter seeking advice for my heartbreak. The book is rich with humor, insight, compassion and absolute honesty one of the reviews says.
It is now a television…
