Where Does Your Worth Come From
Why are you here on earth
None of us come to earth to gain our worth. We brought it with us. — Sheri Dew
Before you breathed your first breath, you lived and stood in the presence of God.
You lived as His spirit child in a premortal realm. He was and is your Father in Heaven.
Your personage was lit up by the divinity you carry within you as His child.
Your Father in Heaven loved you completely.
He loves you and believes in you because He knows who you are.
God made a plan for you when you were in the premortal realm.
You had progressed as far as possible in this premortal existence without a human experience. You needed to gain a body and experience the opposition found in earth life.
It must have been a wonderful place being near God.
But He wanted you to experience life, have moral agency, grow and learn, and develop into the person you wanted to be. Opposition was needed for that. He wanted you to come to earth to receive a body and see if you would choose to keep His commandments while away from Him.
Your body would be a marvelous gift you would receive to live in the flesh amongst imperfect humans on earth.
