It stretches to envelop
The whole world
With love
Inclusive
Unconditional
Forgiving
That kind of love…
In school they told you
The heart is just a muscle
Pumping blood to the far reaches
Of your body
But oh! It is so much more!

On the wings of your heart
You will fly to the far corners of the Earth
To the far reaches of the Universe
Circling your home planet once
Admiring its loveliness from a distance
You will vow to love it
In its entirety, warts and all
Including each and every thing that lives on it
Including your fellow humans
Imperfect as they are
And yourself
Imperfect as you are
Such are the superpowers
Of your heart!
